Our hotels
Old town of Nice
Tucked behind a discreet door in the heart of Nice's Old Town, this hidden gem sits just steps from Place Rossetti and the Sainte Réparate Cathedral. Modern comfort meets historic character, with a terrace overlooking the cathedral dome.
Main square of Nice
Perfectly positioned on Place Masséna, with large windows overlooking the main square, these modern, recently renovated suites put you steps from Nice's Old Town, the beach, and the Promenade des Anglais.
Monaco christmas market
The lights of Monte Carlo
Monaco's Christmas market is unlike any other: an 18-metre tree lighting up Place du Casino and a seafront ice rink framed by palm trees, all wrapped in the Principality's signature glamour.
A little bit of history: The Original Riviera Season
Long before the Côte d'Azur became a summer icon, it was a winter destination. From the mid-1800s, European aristocracy and royalty (British, Russian, and beyond) travelled south each winter in search of mild air and sea views, settling into Nice, Cannes, and Menton for months at a time.
Queen Victoria herself wintered repeatedly on this coast, and the grand hotels and promenades that still define the Riviera today, including Nice's Promenade des Anglais, were built largely for this winter clientele.
Summer tourism, by contrast, is a relatively recent invention: it only took hold in the 1920s and 30s, once sunbathing came into fashion. For most of its history as a destination, this was a winter coast first.
That history is worth knowing, because it points to something true: the Côte d'Azur was never just a summer place. It was built for exactly this season.
