Day Trip to
Gorges du Verdon
If you are travelling to Provence or the Côte d’Azur try and visit the wonder which is Gorges du Verdon (2.5 hours from Nice; 1 hour 40 from Grasse) It is a river canyon boasting white-water rapids and cliffs and famous for its turquoise waters.
Just looking at the view is magnificent enough but you can also hire paddle and rowing boats as well as kayaks. At Azur Xperiences we offer a full day 9 hour tour to Gorges du Verdon from Nice & the surrounding towns. You will visit the Gorges and have free time to rent a boat if you prefer. Then you will travel onto the pretty medieval town of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, set among rocky mountains. Enjoy a lunch of regional Provencal specialities at a terrace cafe before heading back towards Nice.
The tour is private but can take up to 8 people in a luxury air conditioned minivan with your English speaking driver/guide.
