Day one

Stay at the Manoir Henri Giraud hotel, located 25 minutes by car from Reims, a few minutes from Epernay and at the foot of the famous AY-Champagne Vineyards.  Manoir Henri Giraud has been growing vines since the 17th century.

Relax and spend your day at this splendid hotel, book a massage and have access to the thermal Spa.

Your dining experience that evening will include 7 iconic Giraud wines paired with dishes.

Day two

After breakfast you will set off for your full day privately guided tour and discovery of various Champagne villages.  This includes a visit to Champagne Pommery followed by a 3 course  lunch accompanied by the house Champagnes.  After lunch you will visit the Abbaye of Hautvillers (the village of Dom Perignon).  Dom Pierre Perignon was a Monk who in the 17th century was one of the pioneers of champagne.  The ambitious Monk of the Benedictine Abbey of Hautvillers laid the foundation of the champagne making method.  Dom Perignon champagne was Marilyn Monroe’s favourite wine!! Here you will taste 2 different champagne varieties.

In the evening you will be collected for the hotel and taken to Les Avisés restaurant where you will enjoy a delicious 4 course gourmet menu!!

Day three

After breakfast you will enjoy a tour of the Crayéres, the historic cellars of the Maison Ruinart in Reims, famous for having benefited from chalk pits to protect and age their wines.  These pits now extend over 2 levels and 8 kilometres.   These are in fact listed as a  UNESCO World Heritage site.   Here you will taste 2 vintages of Ruinart – Ruinart Blanc de Blancs, Ruinart rose or Ruinart Millesime.   Lunch will be served on the terrace close to the vineyards.
