Our 3 night Iceland Tour features the main highlights this fascinating country has to offer. Known as the land of Fire & Ice, it is also known as the land of Light & Darkness. Long summer days with near 24 hours of sunshine are offset by sort winter days with only a few hours of daylight.
Our 3 night Iceland Tour starts with a visit to the Blue Lagoon, a natural geothermal pool in the middle of a large lava field. Spend time here having a relaxing swim or bathe in the rejuvenating warm mineral rich water famed for its healing properties. The next day your Iceland Tour will explore several of the famous highlights Iceland has to offer during our Golden Circle full day tour. This will take you to Thingvellir National Park, home to Iceland’s largest lake – Thingvallavatn; the renown Gullfoss waterfall (Golden Falls) and then onto the geothermal area of Haukadalur which contains Iceland’s famous geysers and hot springs. The following day we will take you on a half day guided tour of Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland and the oldest settlement in Iceland dating back to the 9th century. The centre of Reykjavik is a maze of narrow alleys framed with old timber houses.
Of course no visit to Iceland would be complete without a search for the magical Northern Lights. Our Experience will take you on a 3 hour tour in the evening in search of this phenomenon.
The best time to see the Northern Lights in Iceland is between September and April.
